Why choose the BSc (Hons) Logopaedics?

   The first undergraduate programme of study offered in Greece by a UK University and the only one with a 15-year-long history in the Greek private education.
  Metropolitan College is the only College in Greece with graduates, who – following the procedure provided in the relevant legislation – became members of the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). All graduates of Health allied programmes are eligible to apply for registration with the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), via the international route
  The only Logopaedics program with at least 700 hours of compulsory clinical practice (required for the professional recognition), that takes place in the broad network of cooperating clinical settings (hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres, institutions, NGOs, special education schools, etc), that cover a broad range of speech and language disorders.
  Application of theory into practice, with courses delivered at the first Logopaedics clinic in Greece, located onsite at Metropolitan College, consisting of modern and specialized Speech and Language Disorder Laboratories. There students acquire experience in the assessment and treatment of real patients, with the help of the one way mirror and the supervision of experienced academics.
  The programme conforms to the standards of the Standing Liaison Committee of E.U. Speech and Language Therapists and Logopedists (CPLOL-LCSTL).
  Notable employment opportunities and career prospects in Greece and abroad. For more than ten years, graduates of the programme have been distinguished professionals in related positions of the private and public health sector.
