Metropolitan College in partnership with FBMA Greece and AHLA in tourism executives certifications

fbmaMetropolitan College, Food and Beverage Management Association of Greece, and the American Hotel and Lodging Association AHLA enter into a fruitful collaboration from this February on.

This new partnership has been built around the provision of educational programmes - certifications for professionals in the tourism industry, provided by AHLA through its educational institute AHLEI. FBMA Greece and its academic partners play a decisive role in administering the above mentioned certifications in Greece.

Metropolitan College, as an academic partner of FBMA will play a very dynamic role in delivering the certification programmes along with FBMA Greece, by providing their modern campus facilities and all the academic resources required for a successful start. All the certification programmes target the Tourism and Hospitality professionals, which, upon successful completion, will lead to the acquisition of the internationally recognized certificates of AHLA.

In the context of this partnership, the Vice-President of AHLEI, Ed Kastli, along with the Vice-President of FBMA Greece Adelina Barphe, visited the College premises on Wednesday January 11th, 2017. Among others, they announced that the Certified Food & Beverage Executive (CFBE®) and Gold Guest Service Professional (CGSP®) would be the two starting programmes of February and March 2017. The workshops will be conducted and coordinated by AHLA approved lectures and hospitality educators who will prepare candidates for their participation in the certification exams.
