New technologies are now widely used in people's everyday lives in most of their activities. This has been also obvious in the field of education in teaching and learning process as they attract students' attention and make the lesson more attractive. However, Information Communication Technologies has been considered as both beneficial and harmful in students' cognitive and social development and most of the times researchers are wondering about their added value in the existing teaching techniques. This special session welcomes theoretical and empirical research papers that aim to contribute in this field of knowledge, and suggest pioneering ways that will enhance teaching and learning process in all levels of education. It intends to offer an open discussion and reflection regarding the appropriate and beneficial use of ICT in education, and also to evaluate the possible risks of these applications.
It is worth mentioning that the congress organisers are in agreement with ELSEVIER regarding the proceedings of the congress, as well as with IGI Publisher in USA for the publication of all accepted abstracts.
