Graduation Ceremony of Thessaloniki Metropolitan College

At the impressive Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the graduation ceremony of the students of Thessaloniki Metropolitan College was held. During the ceremony the opening of the first private Faculty of Engineering & Architecture was announced by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Metropolitan College, Mr. Constantinos Rodopoulos.

The Faculty of Engineering & Architecture delivers the programs of BSc (Hons) Architecture (Greece), BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering & Construction and BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Systems, which are being held at the recently renovated campus of Metropolitan College, situated in the center of Thessaloniki town.
Moderator of the event was the renowned journalist and publisher Mr. Nikos Chatzinikolaou, also partner-in the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Media of AKMI Educational Group.

Outstanding moments where the award ceremony of the President of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises, Mr. Andreas Andreadis for his contribution to Greek tourism and the award ceremony of the third-year student of Metropolitan College at the Postgraduate Program BSc (Hons) Logopaedics, Mrs. Konstantina Sardelas, who achieved the highest international distinction 2014 INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OF THE YEAR by the international qualification organization PEARSON-EDEXCEL.

In the context of the corporate social responsibility program that METROPOLITAN COLLEGE implements annually, 10 full scholarships of a total of 240.000€ where offered to the associations of Thessaloniki STORGI ( Association for Children that suffer from cancer) & MAZI (Association on mood disorders). The night ended with a unique artistic program by the renowned Greek soprano Sonia Theodoridou with the Mobile Orchestra under the direction of Theodore Orphanides.
