The BArch (Hons) Architecture (RIBA part 1) at the Metropolitan College provides full education and training to the future architects who have clear views on Architecture, understand in depth the social field in which they will be required to work, acquired the necessary technical knowledge and have trained their senses and critical spirit, in order to be able to respond to the developments of their science.
Today the fast development of ideas, technical and social relations is constantly modifying the ways in which we deal with built space issues and imposes significant changes in the ways in which we manage the natural environment. Therefore, we imperatively need fully trained professional Architects who will be able to respond to the challenges of our era. The need for a sound design of a living space or a workplace becomes increasingly and broadly understood, at a global level, a fact that ensures that there are good perspectives for an immediate professional career for Architecture graduates.
The programme promotes the intellectual culture and creative handling of the contemporary technological and conventional tools that contribute to the creation of complete integrated architectural projects, while at the same time it combines the theoretical with the designing approach of Architecture.
