The LLM programme offered by Metropolitan College is designed to help students develop effective examine methods in order to solve complex legal issues. This LLM is addressed to law graduates and professional lawyers too who wish to upgrade and ensure their career opportunities, choosing between two major and sought after pathways - International Law and Commercial Law & International Trade.

Considering that Law is an integral part of everyday life, modules such “World Trade Law”, “International Law of Armed Conflict”, “International Business Transactions” have been included in the Master of Laws curriculum. Thus, students have the chance to examine, reflect on and understand current and contemporary issues in the light of legal theory and jurisprudence.

In addition, students obtain several analytical techniques and skills for problem resolution; Special emphasis is given to their familiarization with the development of sound legal arguments.

In this context they are encouraged to participate in mock trials, draft legal documents and applications, come in contact with both the Greek Legal System and International Conventions and practices. With that in mind, upon graduating, students will have enhanced their knowledge and will be well qualified to join the professional arena.

For developing research skills and preparing essays, students have access to a plethora of educational resources, such as the Online Library and the Online Teaching Environment, but also the support of College’s experienced staff.

Career Prospects

Graduates of the Master in Laws degree at Metropolitan College gain knowledge, practical skills and experience in two high in demand fields of law and economy. They are able to research jurisprudence, prepare and produce advanced legal writing and present legal arguments in public. Thus, they are qualified to:

Admission Requirements

The Master of Laws programme is addressed to Law graduates from Greek Universities, but also universities from abroad, who wish to develop their knowledge and pursue a career either within Greek territory or at a European/International level.
