The labs include the Fine Dining restaurant “Taste Gallery”, a fully equipped Reception, real Hotel Rooms and Housekeeping Labs, as well as kitchens with cutting-edge equipment which meet the strictest health and safety standards. In this way, the most modern Hospitality Education System is accurately followed, which places emphasis on training in real working conditions during studies, as per market standards.
Tourism & Hospitality Laboratories
To meet the needs of the Faculty of Tourism, state-of-the-art proprietary laboratories have been created in the Metropolitan College, which are fully and luxuriously equipped and simulate the real operation of a 5-star Hotel.
Fine Dining Training Restaurant
“Taste Gallery”, which is located on the 7th floor of the Athens Campus, functions as a real restaurant; the “Serve and Learn” model is followed. This means that it is students preparing the exquisite dishes, they serve them and enjoy them at the same time. In addition, students prepare the restaurant area before each shift, so that it is ready to receive customers.
5-Star Hotel Rooms
Students are trained in the Housekeeping field, in accurate simulations of 5-star hotel rooms, while operating in real working conditions, so that they are well prepared for their professional life.
Culinary Arts Laboratories
Modern kitchens, fully equipped with advanced technology equipment for mass catering, which is used by students for the preparation of real meals.
