Counting more than 2,100 members in more than 120 countries,\u00a0BIMCO is the world\u2019s largest international shipping association. Shipowners, operators, managers, brokers and agents are included in the BIMCO&#8217;s member list.<\/p>\n<p>BIMCO&#8217;s mission is to be at the forefront of global developments in shipping, providing expert knowledge and practical advice to safeguard and add value to our members\u2019 businesses.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the reputable Warsash Maritime Academy, the world\u2019s premier maritime education and training provider, Metropolitan College\u00a0is one of the largest maritime and naval training centres in southern Europe. It is worth mentioning that\u00a0Metropolitan College is an Associate Member of INTERCARGO, the International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners, a Marine Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), the international membership body and learned society for marine professionals operating in the spheres of marine engineering, science, or technology, and a Corporate Member of the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association-HELMEPA. Furthermore, it\u00a0has been accepted as Full Member by the International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI).
