{"id":6353,"date":"2016-07-03T16:57:46","date_gmt":"2016-07-03T13:57:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mitropolitiko.edu.gr\/?p=6353"},"modified":"2021-07-29T15:03:37","modified_gmt":"2021-07-29T12:03:37","slug":"1868-unesco-award-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mitropolitiko.edu.gr\/en\/news\/1868-unesco-award-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"UNESCO Award for the School of Early Childhood Studies and Special Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The School of Early Childhood Studies and Special Education of Metropolitan College, Thessaloniki campus and, more specifically, students Anna-Iris and Maria-Leto Kouba, in cooperation with the Experimental Centre of Preschool Education \u2018Infant Garden\u2019 and the World Organization for Early Childhood Education in Thessaloniki, carried out a study entitled \u2018Children&#8217;s curiosity finds solutions for energy: a project for renewable and non-renewable energy sources for early childhood\u2019 as part of their placement.<\/p>\n<p>Their project was awarded in the international competition of UNESCO \u2018Global Action Programme 2016\u2019, on \u2018Education for Sustainable Development\u2019. This is a project for the teaching of renewable and non-renewable energy sources to preschool children.
