EduAI

The EduAI project aims to address challenges and opportunities in Higher Education (HE) driven by rapid advancements in AI technology. It focuses on empowering educators and ensuring HE institutions are prepaared for AI’s potential in transforming teaching and learning.

MODES

MODES project aims to reinforce the international and foreign students learning experiences through the equipment and boosting of the HEI professors’ skills to create inclusive classrooms. To achieve this, they will have access to a Methodological Guide for teaching in international settings and an International Skills Curriculum developed by the project, becoming then able to foster the inclusivity of the higher education on a systemic level. By improving the learning experience of foreign students in classrooms and campus life, MODES will address the problem of “culture shock” that many of these students faces, that often limits the quality of their international experiences in HEI at an EU-level.

Re-Direction

RE-DIRECTION envisages to introduce a new paradigm for Higher Education as a whole, which will be hopefully considered as an impactful and useful tool to be included in the agenda of each third country not associated to the Programme’s growth, building a strong, dynamic and supportive training package that also, includes the relevant infrastructure and organizational change needed for a modern society. In general, it will train staff and trainers, concerning the redesigned curricula developed and craft policy recommendations on connectivity issues of remote HEIs, with ultimate goals to equally meet the labor market needs as well as learners’ needs, match the essential skills and jobs, adapt to fastchanging workplace requirements and bring forward innovative skills. In detail, it aims at reinforcing Ukrainian and Georgian Universities with innovative forms of teaching, by redesigning and updating current curricula covering the triphasic spectrum of digitalization

ALIAS

The healthcare sector requires innovative solutions to enhance training and improve patient outcomes, particularly in high-pressure environments like intensive care units. The ALIAS project addresses this by integrating augmented reality (AR) into nursing education, creating realistic simulations of intensive care scenarios. This approach allows nursing students to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills in a risk-free setting, enhancing their preparedness for real-life challenges. By collaborating with European universities and leveraging cutting-edge technology, the ALIAS project aims to transform nursing education, aligning with broader EU health education policies to improve care quality and patient safety.

ReGrow

The European Union is leading efforts toward sustainability amid economic and social challenges, such as climate change and technological shifts, with agriculture playing a crucial role in this transformation. Modernization through technologies like precision farming is essential, as agriculture contributes 1.4% to the EU’s GDP but faces challenges from climate change and evolving consumer demands. To address these, higher education must update curricula to meet labor market needs, with collaboration between education ministries and institutions being key. In Ukraine, the war with Russia has severely impacted agriculture, creating an urgent need for precision farming education, while Georgia struggles with low agricultural productivity and market disconnection, requiring alignment with EU standards and sustainable practices. The ReGrow Project aims to modernize agricultural education in both countries by developing a joint MSc course in Precision Agriculture, equipping students and professionals with the skills needed for sustainable practices and digital transformation, thus supporting socio-economic and environmental sustainability aligned with EU priorities.

STEM4Humanities

STEM4Humanities aims to combine the STEM education with Humanities’ learning process. We are increasing the career prospects of humanities students through STEM education and STEM-based teaching and learning experiences delivered with the support of Humanities professors and aiming to develop a transversal way of thinking.

InSupport

InSupport aims to enhance the protection and support available to victims and survivors of sexual violence in Greece. It addresses several critical gaps, including the need for more targeted and gender-sensitive training for law enforcement and frontline professionals, limited interagency cooperation, and the absence of effective referral and operational procedures tailored to the needs of sexual violence survivors. The project also seeks to respond to the lack of holistic and specialized support services for women and girls who have experienced sexual violence, as well as the limited awareness among survivors about their rights and the support systems available to them.

3EEE

One major problem that the current education system in Palestine faces is the gap between academia and the Labour Market. Employees very often complain about the skills acquired by new graduates, which are not sufficient for the requirements of the labour market. The project envisages the solution will not only be by redesigning the content, or by changing the method of teaching or changing the assessment methods. But the change must include various and multiple aspects in Learning and Teaching Contexts.

TRANSITION

TRANSiTION is a project funded by the European Union that aims to enhance the digital skills and competencies of healthcare professionals and non-clinical staff working in cancer care. It addresses the challenges associated with the safe and effective integration of digital health solutions across the cancer continuum through the development of a comprehensive education and training programme.

STARS

Start- Digital-Sustainable-Profitable project will enable HEI Entrepreneurship Educators to promote digital business models and technologies as well as sustainable, social and ethical business practices to increase their relevance and social and ecological impact.

MICRET

The MiCRET project (Microcredentials for Renewable Energy Technicians) tackles the urgent challenge of skills shortages in the renewable energy sector across the EU. The project proposes a systemic approach to upskilling and reskilling through micro-credentials tailored to the green and digital transitions. It aims to establish a unified European framework for micro-credentials that enhances cross-border recognition, transparency, and alignment with national and EU qualifications systems. Through a diverse partnership spanning Greece, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, MiCRET will co-design stackable, modular learning units aligned with industry needs, integrate them with platforms such as Europass, and ensure their sustainability through policy dialogue and ecosystem-building efforts. The initiative supports the implementation of the European Green Deal, the European Skills Agenda, and the Council Recommendation on a European approach to micro-credentials.

Eldicare 2.0

Eldicare 2.0 is the continuation of the Sector Skills Alliance project “Eldicare: Matching Skills in a growing European Silver Economy”, which has been implemented from 2018 to 2021, also coordinated by AKMI S.A. Eldicare had a great impact for the elderly care sector, however the COVID-19 outbreak affected both the project activities and the elderly care sector. Thus, a new synergy, focused on the post-COVID era and the EC goals related to digitalization, green transition, entrepreneurial and soft skills of caregivers was decided to be developed.

Care4Elders

Care4Elders project, in line with Healthier Together’ EU NCD Initiative, aims to, on the one hand, enhance the access to patient-centered & long-term elderly care for people with dementia, introducing innovative, digital and targeted practices to the elderly healthcare workforce and on the other hand, change attitudes towards dementia, raising awareness about dementia as a public health priority.
In particular, Care4Elders project has been designed to support and upskill elderly care workforce in order to be able to offer a targeted and high-quality care to people with dementia, to promote and enhance early detection of dementia, through awareness raising. We also aim at supporting vulnerable groups in tackling health inequalities and to incorporate digital and innovative tools effective in slowing elderly patients’ dementia’s progress.

DigiDementia

DigiDementia project aims to raise awareness about dementia and strengthen the skills of those involved in dementia care. It offers professional development opportunities for carers working in care facilities, while also supporting family members in better understanding the disease and providing more effective care to their loved ones. By fostering knowledge and capacity, DigiDementia contributes to the creation of a more targeted and sustainable care strategy, ensuring high-quality, long-term support for people living with dementia.

VETMarketplace

VET Marketplace is a project funded by the European Union under KA220-VET – Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training, which aims to adapt VET curricula in graphic design and web development to the needs of the labour market while revolutionising the way VET is practised by creating a link between VET and industry through a digital VET Marketplace connecting students and SMEs for the delivery of project-based assessments.
