They cover two major and high-in-demand specialisations: International Hospitality and Tourism Management and International Hospitality and Event Planning.
In collaboration with the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the No1 Hotel School in the world, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Metropolitan College offers the internationally acclaimed vocational training programmes, VET BY EHL, in the tourism sector.
The mission of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Metropolitan College is to train and shape executives who can pursue a career in the rapidly developing tourism industry, which is one of the most important financial activities in our country. The programmes include contemporary courses with practical dimensions that aim at familiarising and training students in life, action, and the multinational, evolving nature of tourism and hotel businesses. The need for well-trained professionals in both the local and the global Hospitality and Tourism market gives rise to brilliant employment prospects for the graduates of the Faculty, in Greece and abroad.
The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Metropolitan College has won the “Best Hotel Education Provider” award at the Greek Hospitality Awards in 2016, 2017,2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. It has also been awarded at the Tourism Awards 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 in the “Best Tourism & Hospitality School” category.
It is the only Greek college that is a member of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) – a UN specialized agency – and member of SETE, EURHODIP and ELITOUR. At the same time, it is the only Global Academic Partner of AHLEI in Greece.
