The "Online Certificate in Sport Business" is an online programme developed by the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Physical Education of the Metropolitan College to meet the staffing needs of an ever-growing sector that offers a plethora of professional opportunities.

The programme includes 4 thematic units through which the trainees obtain a comprehensive understanding of the management of a sports organisation, at an administrative, developmental, marketing and financial level. To this end, participants learn to understand and apply key concepts and skills, such as analysis and diagnostic tools for market research, as well as strategies for development and for launching new products and services. In addition, they acquire specialised knowledge in the management of financial resources. In this manner, graduates are able to interpret the financial statements of a sports organisation (balance sheet, income account, cash flows) and evaluate the economic and financial progress of business plans related to the sports sector.
