The postgraduate course MArch in Architecture and Urban Design aims at training students and equipping them with the professional and creative skills necessary for a successful career as architects.

The architectural design process is supported by theoretical, cultural, environmental, technical and professional studies, which provide an interdisciplinary learning environment suitable for the modern professional world.

The course provides a unique opportunity to study architecture from the urban scale to the building scale. The city becomes the contextual lab that informs and inspires an architectural response to contemporary challenges of a local and supralocal nature. The course is shaped by the notion that Architecture graduates should be equipped to respond effectively and creatively to the challenges of contemporary society for a more sustainable future.

Through a wide range of architectural design projects, the first year of studies aims at developing a design process related to complex buildings and urban design projects. In the second year the thesis is completed, which requires the development of both the theoretical as well as the design framework, with comprehensive proposals of architectural design and architectural technology.
