The UCL world top Executive Education course at Metropolitan College
Metropolitan College Global University Hub – Greece’s largest University Hub – proudly announces its new collaboration with the UCL Global Business School for Health – the world’s first business school dedicated to health. As a result of this synergy, the world top Executive Education programme “Leading and Managing Change in Healthcare” will be delivered for the first time in Greece.
Demographic shifts, lifestyle changes, climate change, technology and social inequity have all placed great pressure on health and healthcare in recent years. With the COVID-19 pandemic adding yet more strain, healthcare leaders globally are being urged to implement palpable transformational change.
This Executive Education course has been designed by world leading UCL experts to enable healthcare managers to transform their organisation and their career.
The course is addressed to ambitious senior leaders who wish to lead transformational change in their organisations. They may be clinical leaders, policymakers, senior managers or executives tasked with leading an aspect of change in their healthcare or welfare organisation. Or they may come from a sector related to healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, working at a level where they are expected to drive organisational change.
Dr Ianis G. Matsoukas, Executive Director of the Global University Hub, Metropolitan College of Greece, stated:
‘‘Healthcare and welfare executives need to have the appropriate leadership and business acumen skills to successfully navigate today’s complex health and welfare environment. The Global University Hub is committed to providing executive education programmes and professional qualifications in collaboration with the most prestigious global universities. Our aim is to point healthcare and welfare leaders in the right direction for creating and sustaining large scale change and transformation, to meet the demands of multiple stakeholders including the workforce, patients, and communities they serve.”
Professor Nora Ann Colton, Director of the UCL Global Business School for Health, stated:
