Metropolitan College announces the results of the 2025 nationwide survey (conducted in collaboration with the leading research company QED) on the employability of graduates from the 2022–2024 cohort.
Specifically, 7 out of 10 Metropolitan College graduates are currently employed. Of these, 75% work in a field related to their studies. This figure underscores the direct application of the knowledge and skills acquired by Metropolitan College students, ensuring a smooth transition from academic life to professional careers.
Furthermore, 70% of employed graduates secured a position within six months of graduation. This exceptionally high percentage reflects the strong demand for Metropolitan College graduates in the job market, highlighting the recognition of their qualifications by employers.
The survey also reveals that 83% of employed graduates work full-time, highlighting the quality and stability of the positions they hold. Additionally, 79% of those employed in a field related to their studies report being satisfied with their work. High graduate satisfaction relates not only to securing employment but also to the quality and prospects of their positions, confirming that studying at Metropolitan College leads to meaningful professional success.
This success is closely linked to the systematic initiatives of the Metropolitan College Employability & Career Center, which serves as a bridge between students and the job market, supporting the professional development of both students and graduates. The Center offers a comprehensive range of services, including personalized guidance on job search strategies, postgraduate study selection, CV preparation, and effective interview techniques.
Continuous engagement with the business community is achieved through an extensive network of partner companies and the specially designed Career Portal, while internship opportunities are integrated as an essential part of the educational experience. Employment prospects are further enhanced through organized “Career Days” with participation from leading companies, as well as specialized Career Days for the Schools of Tourism, Shipping, and Maritime Academy. The program is complemented by mentoring initiatives involving experienced industry professionals and business case study presentations, while the annual DevelopingU event contributes to the development of professional skills and awareness of the latest industry trends.
“We are particularly proud of the results of this survey, which confirm our commitment to providing an education that not only enriches knowledge but also ensures the professional success of our graduates,” said Ms. Vicky Apostolopoulou, Head of Career, Employability, and Alumni at Metropolitan College. “The systematic work of the Employability & Career Center, combined with the quality of our study programs designed according to market needs, forms the cornerstone of this success. We continue to invest in educational quality and employability, ensuring that our graduates are fully prepared to meet challenges and seize opportunities in the job market.”
The survey, conducted using QED’s scientific methodology, confirms the effectiveness of Metropolitan College’s educational programs and their strong alignment with labor market needs.
