Metropolitan College organizes the 1st International Rehabilitation Conference. Its main theme is “Advancing interdisciplinary rehabilitation to improve lives” and it will be held at Metropolitan College (Maroussi Campus), on 7-9 of February, 2020. Many international speakers will be part of this 3 day event which is organized by the academics and the scientific team of Metropolitan College’s Faculty of Health Sciences.
More specifically, the keynote speakers line-up is composed by an interesting mix of prestigious Academics and experienced Health sector representatives with in depth knowledge of Human Science, Life Science and Rehabilitation.
It is the first time a rehabilitation oriented Conference takes place in Greece and it is worth mentioning that Metropolitan College, aiming to promote education and research in the scientific field of Rehabilitation, provides, in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, the only postgraduate MSc Rehabilitation programme in Greece.
International Rehabilitation Conference’s aim is to provide a premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trend, clinical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Health, Health-Allied Sciences, Human and Life Sciences and Rehabilitation.

Expected to encourage communication and collaboration at a national, regional and global level, promote professional interaction and lifelong learning, the Conference addresses to students, graduates and scientists of numerous Fields of Health such as Physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics, Psychology, Podiatry, of Human Sciences, as well as people who take care of their family members.
Metropolitan College invites researchers, scientists, scholars and students engaged in the above fields to submit original research results, interdisciplinary papers, new ideas, research and development, practical experiments, which concentrate on both theory and practice, on current rehabilitation themes. All registered papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
