On February 11th the students of Civil Engineering of Metropolitan College in Athens visited the Quality Control Laboratory of the Technical company EDAFOMICHANIKI.
The purpose of the visit was for students to become familiar with the use of various materials, their adequacy and quality control in order to be used for different construction projects.
During their visit, students had the opportunity to attend a detailed presentation of the lab’s equipment and its use on various material samples from construction works in Greece, by the Laboratory Director. Students acquired an integrated approach on the operation of different devices and the reaction of various materials in soil mechanics, rock mechanics, concrete, foundations, inert materials and asphalt works.
