The students of the Department of Civil Engineering visited on April 2nd the European Space Exhibition (the first time it takes place in Athens), a free exhibition on tour in major European cities, which highlights the many ways in which the EU space programme helps EU citizens ‘on the ground’ every day.
Students enjoyed a guided tour of the exhibition and had the opportunity to become familiar with the applications of Space Programmes in everyday life. After the tour, they attended the scientific presentations on the application of space technology in Topography-Geodesy.
The European Space Expo visited Athens, Greece from 28 March-5 April 2015.
