The Faculty of Computing of Metropolitan College Thessaloniki, in cooperation with The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC) organized The International Conference in Information Security and Digital Forensics (ISDF 2014) and the International Conference in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Social Media (CSCESM 2014) held in Thessaloniki, Greece, on December 12-14, 2014 at the College’s main lecture hall with the participation of speakers from 19 countries (including USA, UK, Japan, S.Korea, Spain, Finland, Germany, Brazil and Norway).
ISDF and CSCESM hosted 34 presentations (out of 71 submitted) delivered by researchers from the international community, including presentations from keynote speakers and state-of-the-art lecturers, on the following research topics:
• Cyber Security
• Digital Forensics
• Computer Architecture and Systems
All registered papers have been included in ProQuest, ResearchGate Google Scholar and SDIWC Digital Library, as well as in the proceedings of the conference.

During the conference, a special session on High-Level Synthesis, CAD and Applications was organized by Dr Michael Dossis, Associate Professor, Dept. of Informatics Engineering, Technological Education Institute of Western Macedonia, Kastoria.
The conference was attended by professionals and international guests, as well as students of the relevant field, including undergraduate students of the Faculty of Computing and postgraduate students of the MSc in Information Security and Computer Forensics, offered by Metropolitan College in collaboration with the University of East London.
