Metropolitan College International Programmes Office successfully implemented another Faculty-led Programme hosting a group of students and professors from Mount Saint Mary College (USA). 19 students and 2 accompanying professors from the American, private college, located in New York, attended educational programme of one month duration. The main topic of the programme was “Olympic Games, Ancient & Modern and Archeological Looting in Greece”.
The programme included, in addition to lectures, visits and guided tours of sites in Athens. It is worth mentioning that, in the context of the programme, Mount Saint Mary College team visited Olympia and Mycenae, two sites directly related to Hellenistic times and the Olympic spirit. Students and their accompanying Professors had the opportunity to expose themselves to the Greek lifestyle and, of course, enjoy Greek cuisine.
