Metropolitan College announced its cooperation with EHL Advisory Services, an EHL Group company for the provision of the globally recognized tourism educational program VET by EHL.
This new collaboration was celebrated at a prestigious event in the presence of the Ambassador of Switzerland to Greece, H.E. Olaf Kjelsen, the President of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE)-Mr. Giannis Retsos, the Director of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne Advisory Services – André Mack and many prominent personalities of the Greek tourism industry.

The launch event of this new valuable collaboration took place at Metropolitan College’s Downtown Campus Lecture Hall. The President of Metropolitan College, Mr Konstantinos Rodopoulos, opened the event with his welcome speech: “We are offering studies in Tourism in Greece. We have been honored four times as the best school in Tourism Education and now we join forces with the best School in Tourism which is Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Having their degrees offered in Greece is innovative and extraordinary and i think this cooperation will lead to a great success”.
The Ambassador of Switzerland to Greece, H.E. Olaf Kjelsen, made a short but utterly enthusiastic remark, mentioning the longetivity of the Swiss hospitality tradition and, respectively, Greece’s tradition as a top tourist destination: “With its all long tradition in hospitality, Switzerland recognizes the value of Greece as a place worth visiting. It seems to me that this state of mind should also take place in the fields of hospitality management education. I hope that this new partnership we are celebrating today will lead to economic opportunities and develop here in Greece”.
Mr. André Mack, Director of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne Advisory Services, presented EHL’S rising journey, as well as, its recognition as a worldwide reference in Hospitality Management Education:
