Aiming to honor students’ excellence and ethos, Queen Margaret University, one of the oldest academic collaborations of Metropolitan College, organized Division of Nursing’s Annual Awards. With the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the ability to hold a celebration event on Queen Margaret’s campus, awards’ ceremony took place on a virtual platform instead.
Metropolitan College was represented by four students from the BSc (Hons) Nursing programme: Dimitrios Bourantonis, Evangelia Amira, Christina Prifti and Anastasia Alifragki were nominated for the ‘Best student on an undergraduate overseas programme award’. Finally, Dimitrios Bourantonis, was the winner!
It is worth mentioning that at Queen Margaret’s Nursing Annual Awards participate BSc (Hons) Nursing students from every local and international partner, in order to reward students’ ability and have a positive impact on their future career as nurses.
