Hellenic Digital Excellence Awards 2025:
Recognition for Metropolitan College’s Faculty of Computing students

Undergraduate and postgraduate students were awarded by the British Computer Society (BCS) for their outstanding academic performance.

 

In recognition of their excellence, spirit of commitment to studies and academic development, British Computer Society, worldwide leading authority body of IT Scientists and IT Professionals, awarded and honored six students from Metropolitan College’s Faculty of Computing.

During a special awards ceremony, dedicated to Cyber Security, students were honored for their outstanding academic achievements in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.  The Metropolitan College students who received this prestigious award are:

The Excellence Awards were presented by Professor Emmanouil Giannakoudakis. President of BCS in Greece and BCS Fellow, Mr. Christos Stavroulakis, attended the event and congratulated students on their successful academic performance. This distinction is a testament of the high academic standards of Metropolitan College in the field of Computing, preparing its students to excel in the global job market and the ever-evolving technology sector.

Dr. Dimitris Sklavounos, Dean of Faculty of Computing at Metropolitan College, was also present and delivered a short speech.
