Metropolitan College in the T.H.E. Impact Rankings 2024

For the second consecutive year, Metropolitan College maintained its strong position among top international and domestic academic institutions.

Metropolitan College, the leading college in Greece, has once again been distinguished in the Times Higher Education (T.H.E.) Impact Rankings 2024, maintaining the excellent position it achieved in 2023, among top international and domestic academic institutions.

This recognition is particularly significant as it rewards the overall excellence demonstrated by the institution in its contributions to sustainable development, highlighting its commitment to addressing contemporary global challenges, including environmental sustainability, social inclusion, economic growth, and partnerships, both locally and internationally.

In a year of high competition, with seven additional new entries from Greece, Metropolitan College is the only Greek educational organization evaluated across all 17 goal categories. Among 2,152 universities from 125 countries, Metropolitan College achieved outstanding overall performance in the final rankings in most categories.

Notably, for 2024, Metropolitan College was assessed for the first time in all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in contrast to 2023 when it was evaluated in only six categories.

The evaluation of academic institutions in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is based on documented evidence presented by the educational organization, included in reports, or related to processes and policies transparently posted on its website and available for verification.

This distinction emphatically reflects the holistic approach and innovative policies adopted by Metropolitan College, aimed at contributing to sustainable development through continuous efforts to reduce inequalities, enhance the position of women in education and administration, improve the health of its educational community, and provide high-quality international education without exclusions.
