Advance HE is a member-led charity that works with partners across the globe to improve higher education for staff, students and society.

Responding to our vision for delivering high quality programmes of study and providing an educational environment of high standards, Metropolitan College was recognized as a member of Advance HE, a member-led charity of and for the sector that works with partners across the globe to improve higher education for staff, students and society. It’s purpose is to help higher education be the best it can be, working to create systems that are inclusive, sustainable and high-performing.

Advance HE supports its members, providing a range of research, knowledge, resources and best practices. These include professional development programmes, events, fellowships, awards, surveys as well as consultancy and enhancement services. One of the most important advantages is that Advance HE membership award fellowship at academic staff, which recognise its role in teaching and supporting higher education learning. In addition, the membership provides accreditation for teaching and learning and equality charters that aim to advance gender and race equality in higher education and research.
