Live case-study for 34 MBA students of Neu-Ulm University by Metropolitan College and Fraport Greece
Metropolitan College collaborated with Fraport Greece to develop a live case study for 34 MBA students from Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), Germany.
Through this real world case-study students were given the unique opportunity to delve into the dynamic realm of corporate strategy and explore Fraport Greece’s strategic framework in a program designed to bridge theory and practice.
The initiative is a testament to Metropolitan College’s commitment to creating opportunities that connect education with real-world business environments.
Two months prior to their visit, students began extensive research on Fraport Greece’s corporate strategy, preparing to tackle complex strategic issues in Greece. Once on-site, they participated in direct discussions with Fraport Greece’s top management, gaining valuable insights into the strategic decisions and challenges the company faces within a multifaceted business environment.
One of the project’s highlights was the site visit to Thessaloniki International Airport (SKG), Fraport Greece’s largest hub of operations. There, students observed the company’s on-the-ground operations, management processes, and organizational dynamics. On the last day of their stay and project, students presented the results of their inquiry to Fraport-Greece’s executives.
Beyond academic and professional growth, students enjoyed a series of cultural and culinary activities, allowing them to experience the best of Greece’s rich heritage and flavors.
The initiative, which is part of DAAD Greece’s mission within the HAW.International program, took place in Athens and Thessaloniki, and successfully showcased how theoretical concepts come to life through real business challenges.
