University of the year in the UK for Teaching Quality
The University of East London (UEL), one of the most important Metropolitan College’s partners in delivering high-quality degree programmes, has been named University of the Year in the UK for Teaching Quality, according to the Good University Guide 2025, an annual university ranking published by The Times and The Sunday Times.
The Good University Guide evaluates UK universities based on a range of factors including entry standards, graduate prospects, student satisfaction, research quality and sustainability.
The new distinction adds to yet another recent success of UEL. The University of East London marked an impressive 40-place rise in the “The Guardian University Guide” rankings, reaching the 56th position in the UK for 2025. Additionally, it is worth highlighting UEL’s leading position in the 2024 National Student Survey (NSS 2024), where it ranked 1st in London, 1st in England, and 3rd in the UK for overall student satisfaction.
