Utah Tech University students visit
Metropolitan College Athens

Metropolitan College hosted a group of Criminal Justice students at Athens, Downtown Campus.

As part of the international collaboration initiatives, Metropolitan College had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Criminal Justice students from Utah Tech University, USA, to its Athens City Centre campus.

The students were accompanied by Mark Spooner, Director of the Digital Forensics Crime Lab at Utah Tech University. During their educational visit, they had the opportunity to tour the College’s state-of-the-art facilities, attend lectures, and engage with the institution’s academic community.

 

The visit of Utah Tech University students aligns with Metropolitan College’s vision to strengthen academic collaborations and build connections with international universities.

Specifically, the students attended a lecture by Mr. Vassilis Karapetsas, Programme Leader of the MBA Programmes (Athens Campus), on “Greece as a high performing economy in the EU and globally” as well as the workshopFlow Cytometry and Data Analysis” led by Dr. Maria Sideridou, Programme Leader of the BSc Biomedical Sciences and the MSc Medical Genetics & Genomics (Athens Campus). Additionally, the visit provided a valuable opportunity for exchanging views and networking with students and faculty members of Metropolitan College, fostering potential future collaboration between the two institutions.

The event was coordinated by the International Programmes Office of Metropolitan College, contributing to the successful organization of the visit and the enhancement of the institution’s international academic network.
