STEM4Humanities

STEM4Humanities aims to combine the STEM education with Humanities’ learning process. We are increasing the career prospects of humanities students through STEM education and STEM-based teaching and learning experiences delivered with the support of Humanities professors and aiming to develop a transversal way of thinking.

General Objectives

The STEM4Humanities aims to achieve the following objectives:

Train Humanities students in labor market skills through STEM education.
Upskill Humanities professors in contemporary teaching methods through STEM training.
Development of transdisciplinary approaches in Humanities through integrating STEM education in Humanities curricula.
Enhance Humanities students’ integration in the labor market through STEM education and work-based learning activities

The implementation of the project will lead to the following results:

  • STEM Training Scheme for Humanities students
  • e-WBL | Humanities students in small scale businesses

Activities

  • The project activities are:
    1. Upskilling of Humanities professors. Though this activity we are going to deliver a self-assessment tool to humanities professors for identifying their need and then we are going to create a STEM course for training them.
    2. STEM Training Scheme for Humanities students. In this activity we are going to create a STEM educational program for training humanities students.
    3. e-WBL | Humanities students in small scale businesses. Through this activity the humanities student that were trained in the previous activity will have the opportunity to gain practical STEM experience in companies.
