Metropolitan College’s Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management received its 5th Gold Award as the “Best Hotel Education Provider” , in the recently held Greek Hospitality Awards 2020. It’s the 5th consecutive year that Faculty of Tourism is awarded in recognition of providing high quality University programmes of study in Tourism and Hospitality, in partnership with the distinguished British University, Queen Margaret University and the, Swiss origin, leader in Tourism studies, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
This honor is also a reward for its state-of-the-art Tourism labs that simulate real working environments of the hospitality industry, as well as the pioneering education methods of the academic team.
This exceptional distinction, which is a benchmark for excellence for Metropolitan College, highlights its stability, consistency and quality as a pioneering leader at tourism studies. Additionally, it was added to the four previous awards, with which Metropolitan College was awarded in the Greek Hospitality Awards 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Taking into consederation, the recent safety measures against Covid-19 spread, the award ceremony was held online and transmitted live through the advanced technology platform for online events and conferences of ethosGROUP. The ceremony was attended by politicians and prominent personalities from the business and the political world, such as the Minister of Tourism, Mr Charis Theocharis. Greek Hospitality Awards 2020 ceremony was organized by Ethos Awards S.A., under the auspices of Ministry of Tourism.
