Metropolitan College Faculty of Health Sciences became a World Rehabilitation Alliance Member

Metropolitan College was recognized as a Member of WRA, a World Health Organization (WHO) global network.

The Metropolitan College Faculty of Health Sciences successfully became a certified Member of the World Rehabilitation Alliance (WRA), a World Health Organization (WHO) global network of stakeholders. This new distinction is an outcome and, undoubtfully, a reward for the remarkable initiatives of Metropolitan College’s Institute of Occupational Science and Rehabilitation (IOSR).

The World Rehabilitation Alliance – WRA has been founded by the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to support the implementation of the Rehabilitation 2030 initiative through advocacy, locally, nationally and globally.

The objectives of the WRA are to conduct evidence-based advocacy activities that increase the awareness and demand for rehabilitation, and to strengthen networking and knowledge-sharing within the rehabilitation sector. Metropolitan College is the first College in Greece holding a WRA Membership.
