Visit of the International Fact Finding Mission Greece, led by DAAD at Metropolitan College

This visit is part of the HAW International programme for the internationalization of German Universities.

Metropolitan College was chosen as one of the “stations” in Athens for the International Fact Finding Mission Greece, organised by DAAD and funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research, within the framework of the HAW International programme for the internationalization of German universities.

The DAAD’s choice highlights the College’s commitment to academic excellence and recognizes its strong reputation within the international educational community for its quality and high academic standards and, also, its consistent contribution to initiatives aimed at the internationalization of Higher Education in our country.

Comprising representatives from 14 German Universities, the mission toured the state-of-the-art premises of Metropolitan College in Maroussi. During the visit, the representatives were briefed on the academic opportunities and the range of studies offered by Metropolitan College.

Furthermore, Metropolitan College academics and executive members showcased best practices applied in the education process, projects undertaken regarding Research and Innovation in Education, and the initiatives that make Metropolitan College a successful example of internationalization of higher education in Greece. At the end of the guided tour, all participants attended the organized networking event, where they had the opportunity to exchange views and explore areas for future collaboration.

Metropolitan College consistently promotes international cooperation in Higher Education in our country, acknowledging the multiple benefits that partnerships bring. Through active participation in initiatives and actions focusing on creating global connections, exchanging ideas, and exploring potential partnerships among institutions, Metropolitan College is dynamically evolving, building meaningful relationships with all its stakeholders and contributing to the transformation of the educational landscape of the country.
