The presentation covered 4 sections:

  1. Structure of the Greek Economy,
  2. Hellenic Economy During the Crisis
  3. Outlook and Prospects
  4. How Greek society’s culture and mindset affected these topics.

The second visit by international students involved 31 undergraduate students from North Central College, Illinois, who were also hosted at the Metropolitan College Downtown Campus. Mr. Robert Pefanis, a lecturer from the Business School, delivered an insightful and thought-provoking presentation on “The Geopolitics of Greece” to the visiting students, covering the history, geopolitics, and politics of Greece from 2000 BC to the present day. Following the lecture, the students participated in a guided tour of the Hellenic Parliament.
